IVORY DIRECT PRINT – direct print recommended for printing solid colours
Stages of print process:
– developing a design for print
– print directly on a product
– print burning process
Technological restrictions:
– print only in solid colours without raster elements
– print only on the external side of a product within the limits of a designated print area
– the minimum line thickness: positive: 0.2 mm, negative: 0.4 mm
– the minimum text size: positive: 7 pt, negative: 10 pt
Advantages:
– print resistant to mechanical damage
– print resistant to chemicals (washing in dishwashers)
IVORY TRANSFER PRINT – decals printing
Stages of the application process:
– developing a print design
– transfer print:
– applying a transfer onto a product
– print burning process
Technological restrictions:
– there may be difficulties in representing some Pantone colours
– the minimum line thickness: positive 0.2 mm, negative 0.4 mm
– the minimum text size: positive 6 pt, negative 8 pt
Emalia
- minimal font size: 7 points in positive, 10 points in negative
- minimum line thickness: 0.25 mm points in positive, 0.45 mm in negative
Advantages:
– picture prints with an unlimited number of colours
– decorating with gold, platinum
– print resistant to mechanical damage
– print resistant to chemicals (washing in dishwashers)
IVORY SUBLIMATION PRINT – print with sublimation technique
Stages of print process:
– developing a print design
– print from a printer onto sublimation paper
– transfer of print onto a product
– print heating process
Technological restrictions:
– no resistance to mechanical washing off
– print only on the external side of a product within limits of a print area
– limited availability of products for thermosublimation
Advantages:
– picture prints with an unlimited number of colours
– photographic quality of print
– kvivid and saturated colours
– cost efficient multi-colour prints combined with low outlays
IVORY DEEP PRINT – engraving/sand blasting
Stages of the print process:
– developing a design for plotting
– design plotting on masking foil
– sticking masking foil on a product
– sand blasting
– removing foil
– possibility of applying additional paint on the created design
Technological restrictions:
– a limited print area
– the minimum text size of 12 pt
– contact the commercial department to learn whether the print is possible
Advantages:
– unique effect of spatial print
– permanent print
– the print may be combined with IVORY TRANSFER print technology
IVORY COOL – HOT PRINT – print with a transfer technique with an additional thermochromic print (an element that vanishes if a product has a specific temperature – when boiling water is poured into a mug)
Stages of the print process:
– developing a project for print
– transfer print
– applying transfer on a product
– print burning process
– preparation for thermochromic print
– thermochromic transfer print
– applying thermochromic transfer onto a product
– thermochromic transfer heating
Technological restrictions:
– lower resistance to chemicals in dishwashers for thermochromic elements. Other imprint’s parts are fully resistant
Advantages:
– interesting effect of imprint appearing after boiling water’s pouring in (emphasis of advertising message)
– photo prints with no limitations to number of colours
– gold and platinum decorations possible
– an unlimited print area
– print in areas inaccessible for other technologies (hollow and convex areas, handle, bottom, full areas of a product with a link under handle, etc.)
IVORY CHALKBOARD PRINT – imprint on which you can write and wipe out like on a chalkboard
CHALKBOARD MUG with chalk. New, amazing communication tool. Mug is covered with special ink, which enables to write on it – just like on the chalkboard. Messages are easy removable as well. Ideal gift for a lot of occasions.
Stages of print process:
– developing a design for print
– decal printing
– decal transer on product
– print burning process
Advantages:
– it is recommended to combine chalkboard print with other technics f.e. IVORY TRANSFER PRINT
– print resistant to mechanical damage
– print resistant to chemicals (washing in dishwashers)
– no limitations to size and placing
– an unlimited print area
– print in areas inaccessible for other technologies (hollow and convex areas, handle, bottom, full areas of a product with a link under handle, etc.)
IVORY VIVID COLOUR PRINT – organic decal imprint (intensive colours f.e. 100% MAGENTA, pink colours, not available in other techniques)
Stages of the print process:
– developing a project for print
– decal printing
– decal transer on product
– print burning process (200°C)
Technological restrictions:
– lower resistance to mechanical scratches
– lower resistance to dishwashers
– minimal line thickness: positive 0,2mm, negative 0,4mm
– minimal text size: positive 6 pt, negative 8 pt
Advantages:
– intensive colours f.e. 100% magenta, pink, violet etc
– inks tested for food contact, no heavy metals
– combinations with other print techniques possible
– photo imprints (no limitations to number of colours)
– unlimited print area
IVORY LUMINESCENT PRINT – fluorescent imprint (reflected light wave length is longer than wave length of original light)
Stages of the print process:
– developing a design for print
– decal printing
– decal transfer on a product
– print burning process (200°C)
– only fluorescent colours: Green (PMS 802), Blue (PMS 801), Yellow (PMS 803), Orange (PMS 804), Pink (PMS 806)
Technological restrictions:
– lower resistance to mechanical scratches
– lower resistance to dishwashers
Advantages:
– intensive colours f.e. 100% magenta, pink, violet etc
– inks tested for food contact, no heavy metals
– combinations with other print techniques possible
– photo imprints (no limitations to number of colours)
